Michelle O’Brien has
spent the last six years organizing with for racial, economic and gender justice with communities impacted by HIV and AIDS. She has worked with low-income trans people seeking human dignity and survival services, homeless people living with HIV demanding housing, and drug users fighting criminalization and incarceration. She is currently studying social work, and organizing with other young people with wealth. Her work focuses on the intersection of direct services and liberation movements, and transforming the institutional role of non-profits. She is a 29-year old kinky, poly and queer transwoman living in Brooklyn excited about having children.
