Holly Young recently graduated from Bard College with a degree in Arabic Language, Culture, and Literature. At Bard, she founded the Palestine Solidarity Coalition and led actions against the occupation of Iraq. She was also took part in forming the Transaction Collective and led activities with the Queer Straight Alliance. Her senior thesis was a literary and historical analysis of Zionism as a colonial force entitled “The Power to Return: Zionism and the Right to Conquer.” Holly is in love with her two cats and her girlfriend and is very excited about her internship at the Third Wave!
