We are seeking one intern to work part-time (15-20 hours per week) during the Summer for school credit or work-study hours, or a small stipend if other funds cannot be secured. Third Wave’s website and graphic design intern will receive the chance to gain web maintenance, design, and project management experience in a progressive non-profit setting. Ideal candidates are creative, innovative, independent, eager to learn, and have an interest in developing a birds-eye view of the feminist youth activism landscape and learning more about feminist organizations, non-profits, and foundations.
The intern will work with the Operations Officer and Communications Associate in this position on a number of hands-on projects that integrate the technical skills required of typical web and graphic design internships with Third Wave’s work in the social justice and philanthropic sectors. Some of your time will also be dedicated to administrative projects that support the operational work of the foundation.

The internship is available in the Development and Communications Department.
The Development and Communications Intern(s) will gain hands-on experience and knowledge—we are a small, passionate staff and guarantee you will be challenged and valued on our team. The D&C intern(s) will have the opportunity to take the lead in a couple of new projects we are planning on implementing and will have a significant amount of responsibility, so it’s a great way to maximize your internship experience.
Interns will work with the Development and Communications Associate and Philanthropic Partnerships Associate who love to dance, cook and eat.
